The local travel healthcare contract will likely be at a hospital in or around your home town.
Complete Answer
Local travel contracts are available to clinicians whose permanent address is within a specified square mile radius of the hospital. Clinicians that live outside that radius will be offered a traditional travel contract which includes a stipend to offset travel expenses, while local travelers usually have a higher hourly rate and no travel stipend.
